EMVcon is an electric vehicle conversion company that offers plug-and-play electric vehicle conversion kits. The EMVcon bolt-on installation kit transforms a vehicle into an electric vehicle without custom fabrication. The plug-and-play feature allows the installer to execute electric vehicle conversion without an in-depth understanding of the
complex electric powertrain. The kits come with mounting brackets, reducing the need for custom fabrication. The company also sells a general-purpose electric vehicle conversion kit without vehicle-specific mounting brackets that are still plug-and-play. The installer only needs to perform minor fabrication work to make mounting brackets for donor vehicles. The EMVcon kit comes with all necessary wiring for the electric conversion.
The company has a team of engineers from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul National University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, and Offroad Extreme Korea. EMVcon was founded on 2016 and is headquartered in South Korea.
