EMS was founded by Carel Kuiper and Henk van Calcar while they considered the claims handling market on the river Ems. They found that there was a lot to be gained in terms of efficiency.
In 2013 the first foundations of EMS were laid. A blueprint that indicated how damage treatment could be revolutionized. This was also the idea of the
Claimsengine® was born. In the year and a half that followed, the idea was turned into reality. A system that enables an insured person to serve his customers more quickly and at the moment they want.
