Em Collier is an independent woodworking studio that focuses on custom picture framing and handcrafted mirrors. The studio provides full-service framing for artists, collectors, and galleries, from milling custom moldings in cherry, walnut, maple, and other woods to installing the artwork. Frames use spline joinery and conservation materials such
as UV-protecting glass, acid-free mats, and acid-free backing to support long-term preservation. In addition to made-to-order frames, Em Collier designs and produces limited-batch mirror collections with geometric profiles that emphasize the grain and character of the wood. These mirrors function as both decor and sculptural objects and are available through an online shop.
