Eesti Metsaselts is a nonprofit association that provides information about forestry and the forest sector and supports sustainable forest management. It operates the Metsainfo portal as an information gateway on topics such as forest management, forest industry, climate, forest resources and multiple forest use. The organization publishes
research-based news and explanatory articles, develops educational content and presents sector statistics. Eesti Metsaselts also organizes or supports conferences, public events, campaigns and competitions related to forestry, including professional contests and youth activities. Through these services it helps different stakeholder groups understand forest use, protection, climate impacts and the role of wood and managed forests.
