Update Oct 2024: • We have received a high level of interest from buyers requesting to evaluate the product. These are across all three of our markets (government, education and business) totaling around 20 organisations and over 5000 learners. This indicates a high level of demand and for these volumes is likely to necessitate phasing the trial
process to manage the load and ensure the best quality of product feedback. • Our development teams are working well – across content authoring, platform and AI. The pace of work is accelerating with a focus on delivering our first MVP during October. • Our work to augment content authoring using generative AI is now looking pretty reliable and is now showing considerable potential to provide variants of questions to allow repetition and personalization to individual learner interests, vocation, geography, culture, etc.
Overview EI's AI-powered learning platform for adult numeracy is helping improve the financial numeracy of the 50% of the world's workforce whose numeracy is below the level we expect at primary school. That’s 20 million adults just in the UK - enough to make it a priority for governments (economic participation, upskilling workforce, levelling-up etc). Businesses also use it to meet their regulatory obligations to vulnerable customers (UK Consumer Duty), for employees and for local communities (CSR). And lastly, it’s attractive for education and training organisations looking for a more cost-effective way to deliver for their students. We so far have this huge under-served market pretty much to ourselves.
Educational Intelligence (EI) uses Educational Psychology and advanced/generative AI to address adult numeracy learning at scale - especially for anxious/reluctant learners. As a B2B/SaaS company our customers are businesses, government programs and education/training providers. We enable these customers to provide learning that is important to their customers/students - financial numeracy, in particular - engaging them with content and experience that is relevant and personalized to their specific needs. First product Launch: October 2024.
