Eco Kargha Handicrafts Marketing Private Limited (Ecokargha) is a for-profit company that provides market linkages and skills training to Indian artisans. Eco Kargha's first production is an engagement with the tussar silk weavers of Bhagalpur. Eco Kargha organizes the artisans into producer groups based on their trade in their own villages
and links them to an Eco Kargha Services Center (EKSC). The EKSC provides market linkages for affiliated producer groups, upgrades weaver skills, and provides access to new technology and diverse materials in order to produce in-demand handicraft products. The EKSC network is linked to both domestic retail chains and export houses, and is responsible for facilitating production with the individual artisan clusters.
