Earth Day (アースデイ東京) is a Japanese nonprofit organization that celebrates Earth Day on and around April 22nd each year by hosting a large open-air citizens' festival centered in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo, bringing together individuals, communities, and organizations who care about the planet; it supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
engages volunteers, exhibitors, and sponsors year-round, covers environmental, social, and peace-related themes, runs youth-focused initiatives such as GX Youth Lab and inclusive play programs, organizes the Earth Day Global Summit and related educational forums, and operates across Japan with events in regions including Hokkaido, Osaka, and Okinawa, all managed by the Earth Day Tokyo Secretariat which handles inquiries, production, publicity, and coordination of the annual committee.
