About the Company
Rupprecht Rittweger founded the first company under the umbrella brand e-shelter in 2000. The aim was to develop secure environments to host web servers. In the meantime, over 300 people work at e-shelter, from a whole range of specialist fields and cultures. We now run data centers with an approximate area of 90,000 sqm at seven locations in
Germany and Switzerland. Complex IT applications that are crucial to their customers' business processes have been added to the web servers from the start-up years. Their architects and engineers have developed a data center design for the security of these systems that optimizes energy efficiency and reliability taking economic efficiency into account.
