Auto accidents are the leading cause of death among teenagers. Every
day, 10 teenagers die from auto accidents. Injuries, property damage and related costs from teen driving accidents cost more than $34 Billion per year in the U.S. Many solutions have been implemented by insurance companies, associations, non-profits and state and federal governments, but the problem continues to get worse.
So what do we do?
We need to look at the problem, and the solution, differently. The teen driving timeline has several key phases and the greatest opportunity for impact is the parent/teen supervised driving time.
