About the Company
Distinguished acquired NSU, a Program Manager focused in the hospitality space. This acquisition was a joint venture with Ironshore and they called the partnership IDP. Distinguished subsequently purchased the assets of IDP. In 2013, we acquired the hospitality umbrella program of Kinloch Holdings, known as HLI and in 2015, they acquired Fulcrum
Insurance Programs, which added greatly to their portfolios of hotels and commercial real estate. These combined operations form Distinguished Specialty who focuses on high liability limits for commercial and habitational real estate, hotels, resorts, casinos and restaurants.
