Designboom is the world's first digital architecture and design magazine. Designboom’s objective is to bring together professional and young creativity from a diverse range of backgrounds. Since 2002, Designboom extended its coverage to the related fields of the visual arts, car design, and technology.
Designboom publishes the latest news
and key issues in the fields of architecture, design, technology, and art. Today Designboom handles over 33,000 articles worth of useful information and insightful interviews, studio visits, documentation of new products, reviews of exhibitions and books, and historical surveys.
In 2007, TIME magazine chose Designboom as one of the TOP 100 design influencers in the world and in 2013, the webby awards selected Designboom as an honorable mention in the category of best cultural blog.
The Chinese version of Designboom was launched in 2014 as an online design and architecture magazine. The site consists of a selection of articles from their established English publication translated into mandarin, supplemented by local content that covers development in the region’s creative scene.
The magazine was launched in 1999.
