Food waste is a multi-billion dollar problem. Restaurants, grocery stores and farms all around the world are forced to throw away perfectly good untouched, unsold food. This is food that could be eaten.
We help any venue that sells food reduce food waste by selling their
untouched, unsold food on our app instead of throwing it away, recouping unrealized revenue and saving money on food disposal. Restaurants, bakeries and buffets can sell off their extra untouched food by posting it on our app with just three easy clicks. Farms can also use our app to sell imperfect produce to restaurants to be used as ingredients—and our partner stores double as fresh produce pickup points so that farmers can sell to the public too.
For consumers, our app is easy to use. You can browse nearby stores offering discounted food and produce, or receive instant push notifications. When you find something you like, you can purchase right on our app at around half price. Then just show your receipt during the store’s pickup time to get your fresh food.
Additionally, we will soon have a P2P model that allows people to share with anybody in their community food for free. DamoGo makes it possible for everybody to save money and reduce food waste with every bite.
