CTM-E is a non-profit association that focuses on counter-terrorism medicine and related disaster health issues. The organisation develops and coordinates research projects, clinical guidelines, and policy-relevant outputs on medical preparedness and response to terrorist and high-threat events. It offers education and training through teaching
programmes, workshops, simulations, table-top exercises, and events for clinicians, students, and incident responders. CTM-E operates membership schemes for individual researchers, registered members, students, and affiliate organisations, providing access to a resource library and knowledge support network. It manages online tools such as the CTM-E Knowledge Support Network, a publications library, and access to ASPISMEDICAL issues to support knowledge sharing within the community. The association also engages in advocacy and collaborative initiatives, including participation in the European Disaster Alliance Charter.
