The Criswell College in Dallas, Texas, aims to serve the churches of Jesus Christ by developing men and women for authentic ministerial leadership intellectually, academically and professionally in the word of the gospels.
Student life at Criswell is dedicated to leadership development and community service. Students can gain real-world
ministerial experience by evangelizing locally or abroad through rescue missions, global missionary trips or crossover experiences sponsored by the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention and Southern Baptists Convention.
Academics offered at the college include undergraduate and graduate programs. Undergraduate students earning a diploma or degree are required to major in Biblical Studies and choose from one or two minors in related fields of study.
Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree must take courses in:
* Old and New Testament Survey
* Hebrew and Greek
* Systematic Theology
* Personal Evangelism
* Church History
* Introduction to Biblical Exposition
* International Missions Practicum
Graduate programs include master’s degrees in fields like Christian Leadership and Divinity.
Admissions require students to submit an official high school transcript or GED, ACT/SAT scores, a church endorsement, and two letters of recommendation.
Title IV financial aid programs are available to eligible students through the form of Criswell scholarships, Pell grants and a variety of church-related scholarships.
