Creative Community for Peace is a nonprofit organization with the mission of supporting artistic freedom, promoting the arts as a means of achieving peace.
We was founded by two music and entertainment industry executives, David Renzer and Steve Schnur, in 2012 after the pair learned of the cultural industry boycott of Israel when it comes to
performers who were cancelling shows at an escalating rate. David and Steve got together with several other high-level executives also within the entertainment industry
Our Advisory Board and Professional Networking Committee here now includes executives from some of the industry’s premier organizations, including Capitol Records, Amazon, Warner Bros Records, Sony/ATV Publishing, Atlantic Records, Columbia Records, Geffen Records, Ultra Records, William Morris Endeavor, among many more.
Creative Community for Peace is an apolitical organization that neither stands for nor is supported by any government official, party, or entity. Rather, we focus on providing a balance to the discourse surrounding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict while encouraging artists to visit the region and formulate their own opinions.
