About the Company
Corcon was established on January 8, 1976 by Lou, Gus, and their Father, George Lyras. Four years later, Tom Psaras, their brother-in-law, joined the firm after graduating as an engineer and working four years as a nuclear test engineer. A year after, Lauri Kauffman joined as the office manager. George retired in 1987, but stayed on as a valued
advisor, and that same year, Steve, the youngest brother, completed the partnership. Together they built Corcon's highly respected reputation. Through the years they steered Corcon into becoming a leading contractor in many different types of industrial painting, and now a leader in lead removal on bridges.
