Company Performance Metrics
CommunityID is a formally registered “Community Interest Company” (C.I.C) that operates on a not-for-profit basis. CommunityID was created using the profits from CommunicationID – and they operate as ‘sister companies’.
The initial reason for establishing this company was to meet the social aspirations of the CommunicationID Directors and to
support the 2009 application of their Big Lottery project. They were successful and were awarded funding in April 2010. Details of this exciting community cohesion project can be found on this site.
They continue to evolve their social aims and their innovations continue to blossom. They have developed; expanded and they now have a broad range of projects, services and staff that work with them.
All the information about their present projects and development are documented on this website and they aim to update this on a regular basis.
If you would like to be involved with any of their current projects or want to become part of their team, feel free to contact them. They are always open to volunteers and offer formal work experience programmes.
Their ethos and vision is complete community cohesion for the Deaf community and the communication professionals that support them with the wider society.
