About the Company
Centauri is developing novel immunotherapeutics with a dual mechanism of action comprising (1) a moiety directly targeting cell surface antigens and (2) a glycan effector domain which triggers a potent pre-existing polyclonal immune response. This immune response triggers cell death through engagement with the target, enhanced complement fixation,
antibody dependent cellular cytotoxicity, and phagocytosis by myeloid cells due to polyclonal antibody decoration of the target cell. Centauri has generated excellent pre-clinical in vitro data demonstrating the potent enhancement of complement fixation and opsonophagocytosis of anti-bacterial and oncology therapeutics as well as in vivo PoC data in multiple models of infection.
