Carbon Microsystems is a startup company that provides a solution to manufacture MEMS and NEMS structures in a "cheaper" and "more time efficient” manner compared to already established lithography techniques. Our core team consists of three PhD. and one M.Sc Physicist of who are all specialized in different areas. We do have deep
background about innovative design, production and test stages of this major technology. . Furthermore, our team maintains a great deal of knowledge on optical system and laser system design for medical and industrial applications. Not only we are knowledgeable, we are also highly motivated and integrated team to bring this new vision come true in the area of MEMS technology. MEMS technology have penetrated a wide range of markets from consumer electronics to aerospace and defense.
Traditional MEMS manufacturing technology uses photolithography technique. Our project that we are working on is a maskless photo-lithography system that will make the manufacturing of MEMS device more time efficient and cost effective compared to traditional methods. The major advantage of our unit is the optimization algorithm of the pattern according to the feature size. This will optimize the exposure parameters such as time and UV power. The main optical and mechanical architecture will be authentic and created by us. The system will automatically focus, align and arrange the exposure parameters according to feature size and resist type. Our main objective will be creating a "fast" and "reliable" unit
