CanSTEAM Foundation is a Canadian charity that provides practical STEAM education through school-based VEX robotics programs and competitions. The organization supports VEX IQ Competition for younger students and VEX V5RC for older students, offering a progression from elementary to high school. It supplies free or subsidized robotics kits,
competition registration fee support, and travel assistance for qualifying and underserved schools and community organizations. CanSTEAM Foundation organizes and supports regional qualifiers, skills-only events, and the Ontario VEX Provincial Championships that feed into the VEX Worlds Championship. It also provides coach training, mentorship matching, and resources to help new teams get started and sustain participation. Volunteers, sponsors, and partners are engaged to staff events, mentor teams, and fund equipment and program operations.
