CAMB-AMBC is a professional association for physicians specialized in medical biochemistry and metabolism. The association represents medical biochemists who provide expertise on biochemical and metabolic aspects of human health and disease, including diagnosis, treatment of metabolic or biochemical disorders, and direction of clinical
laboratories. CAMB-AMBC supports members’ professional, educational, and research activities and offers a communication forum with national and international groups. It organizes continuing medical education activities, promotes ongoing competence, and advises the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada on matters related to medical biochemistry. The association also supports recruitment and training of new medical biochemistry specialists and provides information and resources such as publications and educational links.
