Smartphone-based communication service, combining
a) voice calls,
b) geolocation and
c) twitter-like hashtag grouping.
CallAround gives ability to find people geo-closest to you by hashtag (profession or interest or whatever) and voice-call them with your phone. User can become "findable" too.
Example:
1. User enters tag -
for example #taxi
2. He taps it to find other people around you with tag #taxi or just call closest
3. Success: he can order a nearby taxi.
4. Then he taps another button on tag #taxi, stating that other people now can find and call him as in step 2 (he can toggle this state, if he don't want to be found at the moment)
7. Success: he is now himself a "taxi driver" - when he wants to.
Service proposes a multitude of social and small business uses - with tags like #girlWantsCinema, #occupySchoolLibrary, #beerNow, #emergencyLawyer, #washMyCarNow etc.
Has Twitter and Facebook integration (profiles, groups, likes).
