BuzzMetrics measures consumer-generated media with the goal of helping companies better understand consumer needs, reactions and issues. BrandPulse and BrandPulse Insight form what BuzzMetrics calls the "BrandPulse Suite." Their third product, BlogPulse, focuses on tools and analytics for the blogosphere.
In 2006, BuzzMetrics acquired rival Intelliseek. The deal was financed by Nielsen.
