bSafe (formerly Bipper) develops and commercializes personal mobile safety applications for both adults and children. Its primary product is a personal safety application that enables users to alert friends when they are in danger by tapping a button which broadcasts real-time video, voice, and time stamps through mobiles; add an unlimited number of friends onto their virtual safety net; set fake calls to get through awkward dates; check in and share locations with selected people; invite friends to track them using GPS trace facilities; set alarms that will go off unless checked into in a specific period of time; and more. The application is available on both iOS and Android platforms.
bSafe was founded by Silje Vallestad in 2008 and is based in Palo Alto, California with offices in offices in Bergen, Norway and Kiev, Ukraine.
