to scientists thanks to the generous support of two family foundations which cover our operating expenses. The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation is the nation’s top non-governmental funder of mental health research grants, according to Rand Corporation. The Foundation funds the most innovative ideas in neuroscience and psychiatry to better understand the causes and develop new ways to treat brain and behavior disorders. We only fund scientists whose research is reviewed and recommended by our all-volunteer, world-renowned Scientific Council representing every major discipline in brain and behavior research.
