About the Company
Blast Furnace is a free monthly meetup, competition & education session aimed at all levels of programmers. Each Blastfurnace event is organised into three main areas. Introduction to coding for beginners, coding competitions for intermediate skill levels & project-based collaborations for advanced coders.
Essentially it is a space for
coders of all levels to come together and work on problems to develop new skills they can incorporate into the workplace. We are currently working with the Australian NSW state STEM education curriculum writers to incorporate our program into schools with the goal of encouraging kids to pursue a career in programming to fill industry gaps.
