Black Queer Canada is a national movement and platform created by and for Black 2SLGBTQI+ communities. It conducts community-led research and publishes reports that document Black queer, trans, and 2Spirit experiences across systems such as healthcare, housing, education, and employment. The organization produces articles, storytelling initiatives,
and digital resources that share community voices and analysis. Black Queer Canada also organizes national and regional summits, webinars, and other events that convene Black 2SLGBTQI+ people to connect, organize, and discuss policy and systemic change. Through advocacy and policy-focused work, it seeks to influence institutions and decision-makers using evidence from its research and community consultations.
