About the Company
BTTL was incorporated in 1989 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Ballarpur Industries Limited (BILT) dedicated to the promotion of technology-based pulpwood plantations. The company helps farmers to improve productivity and net returns from their marginal lands. BTTL started its operations at Yamuna Nagar in Haryana in collaboration with Plantex
Australia Pvt. Ltd. A plant production nursery with a production capacity of five million seedlings per annum was established. The forestry programme started with the production of Eucalyptus seedlings. Root trainer trays were used for the first time in commercial scale in this nursery.
