The website is a tool for reading and researching scriptures online. It provides advanced searching capabilities
which allow its readers to find and compare particular passages in the Bible based on keywords, phrases, or scripture references.
BibleGateway’s engagement features include a daily blog, more than 60 email devotions, verses-of-the-day and reading plans, a mobile website and application, audio Bibles, video interviews, Bible reference books, shareable widgets, advanced search tools, a retail store, and a discount program.
With more than 150 million page views per month, BibleGateway was launched by a division of HarperCollins Christian Publishing in 1993 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
