Beyond Diagnostics is a Swiss deep-tech company developing the world’s first point-of-care test to measure the real-time biological activity of temperature-sensitive medicines, starting with insulin. The company’s platform combines lateral-flow assay (LFA) technology with smartphone-based optical readout and AI-driven analysis to provide rapid,
affordable, and reliable medication quality testing anywhere.
By enabling users to verify the potency of biologics before injection, Beyond Diagnostics helps prevent ineffective therapy, improve patient safety, and reduce global medication waste. The company’s current Proof-of-Concept phase is funded by Innosuisse (CHF 659 000) and conducted in collaboration with the Diabetes Center Berne (DCB), FHNW, and CSEM.
