Barbe & Doucet creates opera and musical theatre productions through the collaboration of stage director and choreographer Renaud Doucet and set and costume designer André Barbe. The company develops new stagings for opera houses and festivals, covering stage direction, choreography, dramaturgy, and the design of sets and costumes. Its
portfolio includes productions of works such as Die Zauberflöte, La Cenerentola, La Bohème, Die Fledermaus, Cendrillon, Turandot and The Sound of Music, among many others. Barbe & Doucet also provides rentals of existing productions and visual materials for other companies. In addition, they offer masterclasses, private coaching for singers, and classes in set and costume design and creative process for students and young professionals.
