AWorld originated in 2019 from the vision of founders Alessandro Armillotta, Marco Armellino, and Alessandro Lancieri, with the goal of turning individual sustainability efforts into real, measurable impact. fast fashion. By combining advanced technology, gamification, and educational content, AWorld quickly emerged as a groundbreaking platform. In 2020, the United Nations chose AWorld as the official tool for its global ActNow campaign—thus launching AWorld ActNow, a mobile app promoting individual action on climate and SDG education. This marked the start of an ongoing collaboration with the UN, later joined by the European Commission, significantly increasing the platform’s global reach. Major corporations—including Estée Lauder, Toyota, and Bayer—adopted the app to engage and train employees on sustainability. Building on its success and expertise, AWorld expanded its scope to corporate learning, wellness, and customer loyalty. This strategic shift transformed it from a standalone app into a modular, API‑first ecosystem. The result: AWorld Lab, a platform enabling any organization to seamlessly integrate gamification-like engagement strategies into their digital environments. Clients such as Conad, Iren, Lavazza, and San Pellegrino (Levissima) tapped AWorld to enhance loyalty programs and encourage sustainable behaviors. The first vertical spin‑off from this evolution is AWorld Evolve, a gamified micro‑learning SaaS platform set to revolutionize corporate training. Today, AWorld leverages its strong impact heritage to position itself as a versatile tech partner, delivering scalable, measurable engagement and education solutions for any industry.
