In the summer of 2001, Atto reorganized to expand into the drug discovery market place. As part of the reorganization Atto expanded their management and business teams and has doubled the size of the company over the last year.

Atto also strengthened its scientific teams by bringing in some of the lead scientists in cell and molecular biology also from Life Technologies.

These new personnel additions along with new venture money have allowed Atto to aggressively move into the high-throughput cell imaging marketplace. From secondary screening techniques to pre-clinical research, Atto technologies and expertise creates improved strategies for reducing time and increasing downstream success.
