About the Company
Founded in Israel in 2004 by Doctor Dov Fogel, Ascarit develops proprietary nutritious and pharmaceutical products for metabolic diseases. Extensive research that included work on techniques for herbal extraction, conversion of dry powder, and evaluation of safety led to AscaRx, the flagship product of Ascarit. This is a food supplement based on
herbs with properties that regulate blood glucose and lipids. Clinical trial results have demonstrated the ability of AscaRx to control blood sugar levels in Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Ascarit has signed a research and development association agreement with Maccabi Health Care, an Israeli Health Services Supplier, for research and development of AscaRx in Israel.
