Applyful enables students and their supporters to find, collect and manage information about colleges, while enabling colleges to recruit based on a user's activity and background.
The company was chosen to participate in the 2013 College Knowledge Challenge - a competitive grant initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
to award $2.5 million for applications that make the college-going process more transparent, collaborative, and easy to navigate for low-income and first generation students.
Applyful was voted first place among all CKC grantees at the demo day on October 2, 2013.
