Andraste Group develops space sustainability technologies focused on resolving the growing threat of orbital debris in near Earth space. The company designs and plans to operate active debris removal platforms that target both small fragments and large inactive satellites, with an emphasis on low Earth orbit. Its HARES (High Altitude Removal
Satellite) concept is built to chase, capture, and enclose debris smaller than one meter using specialized films and internal cavities. Its DARES (Debris Acquisition and Retrieval Satellite) concept is intended to intercept large ex-service units, latch onto them, and move them to controlled deorbit or transfer. Andraste Group also defines the OARU (Orbital Asset Recovery Unit) as a retrieval module that returns monetarily, historically, or culturally significant payloads to Earth while preserving intellectual property. Through these systems, the company focuses on debris mitigation, orbital safety, and recovery of valuable on-orbit assets.
