Alongside Hope is the sustainable development and relief agency of the Anglican Church of Canada and operates as a non-profit organization. It focuses on addressing the root causes of global poverty, systemic injustice and human suffering through long-term partnerships with local organizations in more than 30 countries. Its core program areas
include food security and climate-resilient agriculture, maternal, newborn and child health, emergency humanitarian response, refugee assistance and support for Indigenous and community initiatives. Alongside Hope channels individual donations and institutional funding into projects designed and implemented by local partners who understand their cultural, social and political contexts. The organization also develops church and community engagement tools, learning resources and giving programs that enable supporters to contribute financially and stay informed about its work.
