The solution (proprietary) is based on a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture trained in an end-to-end manner which can directly output readings without any explicit text nor character localization nor segmentation step. AllRead's software stands out for being able of accurately reading where current OCR systems fail, and for its lightweight implementation preserving the return on investment. By drastically reducing hardware needs and manual interventions, this plug and play solution disrupts the status quo of legacy OCR.
