Algae Science Japan specializes in the research of micro algae, promoting the development of services that meet the needs of the new era. The company is committed to food safety, from culture of hematococcus algae to astaxanthin powder production. The culture of Hematococcus algae is executed aseptically in a room indoors, and the generation of
trans fatty acid is suppressed at 37 degrees Celsius or less even when powdered. Astaxanthin derived from Haematococcus algae produced by Algae Science Japan is called HEMA-MO-ASTA, which promote its application to nutritional supplements and functional foodstuffs. Astaxanthin, produces microalgae that is useful for antioxidants, in order to reduce the oxidative stress that causes various diseases.
The company's culture system promotes low-cost production and mass production of natural astaxanthin. Algae Science Japan was founded in March 2012 and is headquartered in Okinawa, Japan.
