AlBayan Center for Studies and Planning is an independent research center that produces analysis on Iraqi and regional public affairs. The center conducts studies in political, security, economic, legal, and social fields, as well as on governance, elections, civil society, and counter-extremism. AlBayan Center issues policy papers, position
papers, research papers, reports, surveys, and shorter opinion and analysis articles. It publishes periodicals such as Al-Bayan Monitor that track themes in international think tank coverage of Iraq. The center also organizes conferences, forums, workshops, and dialogue sessions on topics including sustainable development, justice, and foreign and economic policy.
