Aidea Materials develops next-generation battery materials by combining artificial intelligence with deep learning molecular dynamics (DLMD) simulation. The company offers two core services: transferring validated battery technology from national laboratories — including Argonne National Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory — into
industry, and using AI/ML to accelerate the R&D and deployment of materials such as silicon anodes and solid-state electrolytes. Aidea's DLMD platform, developed by CSO Dr. Anh T. Ngo, has been validated in three peer-reviewed papers and runs simulations up to 3,730 times faster than conventional methods with over 99% accuracy. The company is led by CEO Tatsu Suzuki, former CEO of Zeptor Corporation, alongside CTO Dr. Gao Liu of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and CSO Dr. Anh T. Ngo of Argonne National Laboratory and the University of Illinois Chicago.
