ACCESS is set up in such a way that it can work at all levels of the development value chain. Access takes a three tiered approach to improving the livelihoods for long term effect. Tier is responsible for implementing initiatives on the ground; Tier II is accountable for supplying technical support to society organizations, government
departments, the private sector, and multilateral bilateral agencies and is responsible for national level initiatives that support the growing microfinance sector by providing streamlined and structured services to emerging MFIs and aiding an enabling environment through the microfinance platform. Access touches the lives of the disadvantaged through the livelihoods program unit, which develops sustainable solutions for upscaling income generating activities.
