Fundada em 2000, a ABVCAP (Associação Brasileira de Private Equity e Venture Capital) é uma instituição sem fins lucrativos, que fomenta o investimento de longo prazo no Brasil. Durante os seus 12 anos de atuação, a ABVCAP tem ajudado a promover as melhores práticas que estão alinhadas com os padrões da indústria internacional, e tem atuado como
facilitador no relacionamento entre os integrantes da comunidade de investimentos de longo prazo no Brasil.
A ABVCAP possui mais de 200 membros, que representam os principais players da indústria de private equity e venture capital, incluindo os maiores fundos de pensão brasileiros, gestores nacionais e internacionais, prestadores de serviços, entre outros.
ABOUT ABVCAP
The Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 that represents the industry and promotes the development of long-term investments. In 12 years of existence, ABVCAP has helped to improve industry conditions for GPs and LPs, advance understanding about the industry and promote best practices that are aligned with international industry standards.
ABVCAP´s membership includes more than 200 members, representing key active players in the Brazilian private equity and venture capital community. ABVCAP members comprise institutional investors including Brazil´s major pension funds, local and international general partners and service providers among others.
