Aboriginal Help Center provides temporary emergency shelter, foster housing, and community support for First Nation people and their children, as well as refugee families. The organization operates foster houses that offer a safe, supervised environment with room service and full hot meals each day. It delivers outreach and intervention programs,
youth conferences and workshops focused on anger management, conflict resolution, and communication skills. The center maintains a life-skills learning facility that supports educational assessment, behavior management, tutoring, and aftercare for children and youth. It also offers cultural and leisure activities designed to improve quality of life for entire families. Additional services include legal and psychological support in collaboration with external providers, and short-term practical assistance such as help with documentation, banking, medical coverage, and employment. Volunteer opportunities support daily operations, resident assistance, and program delivery.
