Saving Princess and other pets like her!
75% of the population are pet owners, as am I. I recently lost my pet in a vehicle accident. This death prompted the creation of 911 Pets. I was relocating back to Texas from Georgia, and I my car had not arrived. My 3 month old alligator pit, Princess, was struck by a car. I had no car to get her to
emergency care, I could not use public transit and 911 is only for humans. Sadly Princess died about 15 minutes later.
911 PETS is a 24 hour emergency and routine care transportation and services company. It works similar to our 911 system. Pet parents call our Toll Free Number with their emergency. Live dispatchers will answer the calls and dispatch a Pet EMT unit.
Each unit is a fully equipped mobile veterinarian medical unit, with a Veterinarian Assistant to assess problems and accompany the pet and parent to the nearest emergency care facility. We also offer Pet Pickup transportation services that provides transportation for pet and parent to and from vet appointments, along with low cost mobile veterinary clinics throughout the community or at your home.
We need funding to get the operation up and fully operational. We need to purchase
• (4) mobile van units fully equipped
• (1) mobile clinic van fully equipped ,
• (3) Economy vehicles for the Pet Pickup Services.
• We need to have the vehicles wrapped with 911 Pets Logo and toll free number.
• Funding to do a major marketing campaign to get the exposure and the word out
• Salaries
o (6) drivers, (
o 6) assistants and
o (2) On call Vets.
Our plan it to bring 911 PETS to every major city in the US. Starting in Texas (June 2014 launch date) and will expand as we generate funds. We plan to offer franchise opportunities once we are up and fully operational in 5 major metropolitan areas.
