18a Productions is a Bristol-based web development studio founded in 2007. For nearly two decades we've helped organisations of all sizes build, fix and scale their digital presence, from sole traders to the NHS, BBC Two, and Aardman. Our in-house team handles everything from web design and development through to architecture, hosting, and
strategy.
We work primarily in WordPress and Laravel, and have a long track record as the technical backbone for larger design agencies who need reliable development partners. 36 million people visit the websites we manage every year.
In late 2025 we launched SiteVitals, a website health monitoring platform built for agencies and developers managing multiple sites. SiteVitals monitors uptime, SEO, security, performance, SSL, domain expiry, server health, and content changes . Everything appears as site events on a single unified timeline and provides an MCP server so AI assistants can query live site health data directly.
