The World Electronics Forum (WEF) was established in 1995 by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). It brings together representatives from electronics industry federations across the world and leaders of major corporations operating in the digital sector. The CTA also organises the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). These federations also
engage in research operations throughout the year, and organise specific events for manufacturers from across the world.
The main aim of the World Electronics Forum is to strengthen the links between international electronics and digital federations, and this event will give them the chance to exchange know-how and information on key topics, with innovation as the theme.It also promotes the development and adoption of information and communication technologies (ICT) all over the world.
