Commercial aviation is much the same today as it was 50 years ago; Aerion Chairman, President and CEO Tom Vice is changing that. From its new headquarters in Melbourne, the heart of Florida's Space Coast, Aerion will produce the world's first sustainable, supersonic jet, commencing manufacturing in 2023. Aerion has moved to Florida to
open Aerion Park, where it will take advantage of the top tech talent and opportunities unique to Florida to produce the AS2 and a future family of disruptive aircraft. The AS2 will fly at 1,000 MPH and become the first aircraft to enter commercial service that will be powered by synthetic fuel and designed to be the first net-carbon neutral aircraft in history.
