TiE New York is excited to host a Pitch Competition in Soho on Monday evening November 5, 2018. Up to seven companies from the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT) will be shortlisted and will present their perfected pitch in front of a panel of seasoned judges and a room full of angel investors and friends of our community. Google Cloud for Startups has
generously agreed to award $100,000 in Google Cloud Credits to the winning company. They will award Cloud Credits of $20,000 to the runner-up and EVERY company that pitches November 5 will leave with $3,000 value to kickstart their Startup!
The application deadline is midnight Friday, September 14. Companies must be located in the Tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) to qualify. Applications should be submit through the Gust link. Applicants should have developed an in-depth business plan addressing: Value to customer, competitive positioning, market landscape, differentiation, marketing, sales and financial strategy (how will the company make money and when?). What problem will the company solve and for whom? What is the exit goal? If your company has worked through all of these topics and has a strong business plan, we invite you to apply. Finalists will be assigned a "Team Champion" ~ an entrepreneur/angel investor with an impressive track record. They will coach their team to make sure they have a solid pitch prepared for November 5.
