Gent BC organises a one-day VC event allowing our guests to discover our finest selection of success stories, exit scenarios and next generation companies. "Level Up" was co-designed with local VCs and industry players. We are proud to offer three solid program tracks:
1. Four established businesses from Ghent will take you through
their inspirational road to success and achieved exit scenarios.
2. Twenty next generation companies who already raised a substantial A-round will give presentations about their business model and level up ambitions.
3. Five colourful starters that you should witness (selected by iMinds, awarded the second place in UBI Global’s ranking of ‘European Top University Business Accelerators’).
These three tracks offer a homogeneous set of technology companies in following fields: SAAS, big data, IOT, mobile and e-commerce. Niche investors and presenting companies are all meticulously chosen in order to guarantee relevant conversations and introductions. We have only selected relevant speakers, that is why we are pleased to present you Fred Destin, partner at Accel and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.
In addition of this top notch program we offer our "Level Up" guests some nice to haves. A superb and exclusive event location: state of the art MeetDistrict, located in one of Europe’s most impressive football stadiums (home of Ghent’s Champions League team). And no need to hurry, "Level Up" starts at 10.30am, coffee and pastries will be waiting for you.
Combine work & leisure and extend your weekend with a Marriot hotel arrangement at one of Europe’s finest, most impressive medieval spots. On top we present a spouse & culinary program in the city of Ghent, voted “Europe’s best kept secret” & #7 top 10 must visit according to Lonely Planet and 3rd most authentic destination by National Geographic.
